About Me: What's really good people, my name is Alex Fernandez, I am originally from Nyc, where I attended the School Of Visual Arts with dreams of becoming the next Jim lee... For those of you not familiar with Jim Lee he is the best comic book artist that ever lived, or lives. The dream of becoming a Comic Book Artist quickly faded when I discovered the world of animation.
To make a long story short I started my Animation Journey using Flash 4, and now I am committed to Toonboom Animate2 to produce my Animations. My goal or dream is to work for an Animation Studio, on an Animated cartoon show for one of the major Networks.
About this Blog: I've had this blog for quite sometime now, but I was using it to show some of my Flash Animations. From this point forth it will be used to feature some of my Animations using ToonBoom Animate2, some Storyboarding with Toonboom's StoryBoard, Character designs, and maybe a tutorial here and there.
I like to think of this Blog as a Documentation of my Journey to try and become a half way decent Animator. I have much to learn, and when I do learn something, anything, I will be sure to share with all of you.
Animation web blog: I would also like to use this blog to share some Animation news, and Creations by other Animators who I admire, and feel I can learn from. So as you can see this blog lives and breathes Animation, character design, and all things that has to do with creating animated films.
Affiliates and Ads: You will notice a few advertisements here and there, but I promise not to overload you with them. I am very selective with Affiliates that I decide to post on my Blog. Rest assure that if you see a Banner, or Text link it will be Animation related. For example, I am a User of Toonboom's software, so you might see some ads related to purchasing toonboom software or to try some their Personal Learning Editions (PLE) at no cost.
Also, in order for you to learn how to use Toonboom's Software you may also benefit from some video tutorials. So you may see some advertisements for cartoonsmart's or any other sites offering similar tutorials as well.
